Peggy has over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, lastly with TransCanada Pipelines. She returned to university and earned a Master of Environmental Design at the University of Calgary, then a PhD in Land Reclamation at the University of Alberta. She has published several articles about reclaiming oil and gas disturbances in native grasslands. She has been active in the Foothills Restoration Forum since its inception.
Peggy Warner will be presenting on the Foothills Restoration Forum (FRF) which promotes the conservation and restoration of native grasslands in Alberta through education, outreach and research to improve reclamation practice and foster stewardship. The FRF began in 2006 as a collaboration between members of provincial agencies, the ranching community, conservation organizations, industry, plant ecologists and reclamation practitioners.
Lunch will be a buffet assortment of soups, sandwiches, vegetables, and desserts.
This event fulfills CCP requirements and provides a great opportunity to network and meet people in the industry!
