Title: Pre-Conference Workshop - How to Use the Range Plant Community Guides and Recovery Strategies Guide for Project and Reclamation Planning in Grasslands

The Foothills Restoration Forum is pleased to present an opportunity to attend a Pre-Conference Workshop in conjunction with the CLRA Annual Conference at the Sheraton Hotel and Conference Centre in Red Deer, Alberta February 28th – March 2nd, 2018. The workshop will take place on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. It will cover the following three components:
• Review of the rangeland ecological classification systems in the grasslands, parkland and montane Natural Subregions (NSRs)
• Determining range plant communities and their response to disturbance.
• Developing an appropriate recovery strategy (reclamation/revegetation plan) for a development or reclamation project
