1. If a former AIT/PAg or ATT/RTAg has been absent from the profession for greater than 5 years, as per Section 38 of the Agrology Profession Act (2009), and wishes to reinstate, the individual must:

  • Apply online as a new member and pay the $250 application fee,
  • If approved, by the Registration Committee, the individual must pay the current year’s registration fee, and
  • Complete the In-Training program, and/or any other requirements as outlined in their approval letter.

2. If a former AIT/PAg or ATT/RTAg is absent from the profession for less than 1 year and wishes to reinstate to their prior designation and original program, the individual must:

  • Login to their member portal and pay the $250 reinstatement fee, plus the current year's full registration fee,
  • Complete all or any of their reinstatement registration requirements as stated on their member homepage,
  • Return to the profession as originally assigned and continue with the program.

3. If Item 2 does not apply and if a former AIT/PAg or ATT/RTAg left the profession but was practicing agrology any time during the past 1-5 years since leaving the profession, the individual must:

  • Apply online and pay the $250 reinstatement fee, and
  • Upon approval, pay the current year’s full registration fee, plus one additional year’s full registration fee, and
  • If the individual left the profession with the designation of PAg/RTAg they may be required to:
    • i. Attend the following AIA courses; 101-Regulatory and 102-Continuing Competence Program and Practice Area.
  • If the individual left the profession with the designation of AIT/ATT they must:
    • i. Complete their In-Training program and/or any other requirements as outlined in their approval letter.

4. If a former AIT/PAg or ATT/RTAg was not practicing agrology anytime during the past 1-5 years since leaving the profession in good standing, the individual must:

  • Apply online and pay the $250 reinstatement fee, and
  • Upon approval, pay the current year’s full registration fee, and
  • If the individual left the profession with the designation of PAg/RTAg they may be required to:
    • i. Attend the following AIA courses; 101-Regulatory and 102-Continuing Competence Program and Practice Area.
  • If the individual left the profession with the designation of AIT/ATT they must:
    • i. Complete their In-Training program and/or any other requirements as outlined in their approval letter.
