Thank you for your new member application to the Alberta Institute of Agrologists (AIA).

Your application will be formally reviewed by the Registration Committee once the Institute has received the following:

Canadian Transcripts:

Official transcripts (colour-preferred, including front and back, if photocopied or scanned) from all Canadian post-secondary educational institutions must be provided to the Institute immediately.

Transcripts from Educational Institutions Outside of Canada:

The following must be provided:

  1. Official transcripts (colour-preferred, including front and back, if photocopied or scanned) from all international post-secondary educational institutions. If your transcripts are not in English, you may be asked to provide a translated copy.**
  2. Original Specialized International Qualifications Assessment Services (IQAS) assessment OR the Course by Course World Education Services (WES) assessment on diploma(s) or degree(s) obtained outside of Canada.**
  3. If NOT a Canadian citizen, proof of ability to work in Canada is required - such as a permanent resident card or work permit (colour-preferred, including front and back, when photocopied or scanned).

You can upload documents directly through your Applicant Portal, under "Document Upload". Alternatively, you can email to info@aia.ab.ca.

**Original international transcripts and IQAS/WES assessments will be returned via regular postage once your application has been reviewed. If you would like to arrange an alternate method of return, please contact the AIA office.
